I learned about prepping while I worked as an OFW in the US. Now that I'm back home, I'm practicing preparedness in a way that makes sense in the Philippines. Balikbayan Prepper is my way of sharing this effort with my fellow Pinoys. I hope you learn something from my experiences.
When starting out as a prepper, it's easy to get preoccupied with gear, supplies, and the awareness that you lack money for all this @&$%!. But, prepping is not about the accumulation of stuff. (Yes, my younger self, you're going to ditch more than half of what you bought.)
It's a way of life.
